The DotNetZoom content management system (CMS) provides a rich user interface. It is fully programmed in .NET and allows you to have your web site up and running rapidly.
Pages and Modules
DotNetZoom consists of Pages and Modules. A site can contain a multitude of pages in a multi-level hierarchical structure. Each page can contain multiple modules. A module is an independent area which is grafted onto a page and displays information or specific applications. For example, a forum, photo gallery, text area, calendar, hyper links or weather information.
DotNetZoom is multilingual, any number of language can be supported.
This version of DotNetZoom :
- Is faster and was optimized to run on a DSL line with SQL Express 2005, ASP-Net 2.0 and windows XP.
- Uses caching, thus limiting access to the database and increases the speed.
- Includes HTTP compression, thus reducing the bandwidth up to 80%.
- Stores ViewState in memory or in the SQL database, thus reducing the size of a page from 3% to 5%.
- Removes white spaces within the HTML Code reducing the page size by another 15%.
- Generate compliant W3C - HTML - 4.01 and CSS.
- Uses a Web-Based HTML editor with powerful formating, it is compatible with Mozilla, FireFox and Internet explorer.
- Has a forum, private messages and a photo gallery.

- Is provided free, as open-source software, and licensed under a standard BSD agreement. It allows individuals to do whatever they wish with the application framework, both commercially and non-commercially, with the simple requirement of giving credit back.
Installing the Certification Authority - Free SSL Secured By StartCom
(SSL) protocol is secure on the Internet. SSL is used to protect your personal information. Your browser must authenticate the SSL server on which it connects. This authentication is performed by using an X.509 digital certificate issued by a certification authority (CA). StartCom Certification Authority is used in this case.
